Our Story
We are excited to introduce you to the Pintuyan Dive Resort!
My name is Ralf Jockel, and I am a PADI and IAC instructor. I have been living permanently in the Philippines since 2002 and have been diving since 1980. I learned to dive at the VDST, where I also became a diving instructor. After that, I became a PADI and SSI instructor. In Spain, I ran my own diving center, and for almost two years, I was employed as a diving manager at Seetours (AIDA). From 2002 to 2009, I gained my experience as a diving instructor on the island of Bohol, Philippines.
My partner, Analyn, and I have been managing the Pintuyan Dive Resort since it was built in the South of Leyte in 2009 and opened in January 2010.
Our resort features five bungalows and one building with three rooms, accommodating up to 18 guests.
Our bungalows and the main house are located in a beautiful tropical garden directly by the sea and our freshwater pool is often used to cool off between dives or chill out in the evening.
As a diving resort, our primary focus is on diving operations. We value the individuality of our guests, especially during whale shark season. We have three fiberglass boats that cater to the specific wishes of our guests. For instance, some guests can choose to snorkel with whale sharks while others can dive at various dive sites. Additionally, we have a house reef on the premises.
Our dive sites offer diverse experiences for all divers, including excellent macro dive sites. We provide ample space for our guests' diving equipment, large sinks for equipment rinsing, and hot water showers in the bungalows to make their stay comfortable.
